Welcome to our Archive
DESCRIPTION
The Osborne Group Archive comprises several collections of historical documents, films, photographs, samples, works of art and other materials. The Osborne Foundation continually dedicates financial and human resources to researching and digitising the Archive, which continues to grow as a result.
Our goal is to provide online access to our cultural heritage, enabling users to consult the available documentation quickly and efficiently.
The Historical Archive contains information dating back to the late 18th century, documenting not only Osborne’s importance in trade, but also the significance of sherry and the city of Cádiz in international trade.
The Advertising Archive contains original artwork, printed publications, and audiovisual and audio materials that not only tell the story of our brands but also form part of the history of advertising in Spain and reflect the changes Spanish society has undergone over time.
We continue to research, inventory, catalogue and digitise other collections belonging to the Osborne Group to make them accessible to the public.

History
The Osborne Historical Archive is organised according to content, which is divided into written and audiovisual documents. The latter include sound recordings, videos and photographs.
Written documents mainly relate to the company’s management and day-to-day operations, whilst audiovisual materials are produced by the company to promote its products and enhance its image and reputation.
SCOPE OF CONTENT AND STRUCTURE
Scope and content
The Osborne Historical Archive (AHO in Spanish) brings together documentation spanning several centuries, generated through business activities that began with wine production and eventually diversified into other sectors. Title deeds, business and personal correspondence, shipping documents, inventories, illustrated documents and many other types of records from various companies and members of the Osborne family. Initially, these bear witness to the history of sherry, its international trade and the Osborne family, but over time they also document the history of other companies and products that have become part of the Osborne Group.
Organisation
The Archive is organised by creator, with fourteen creators currently listed in the ‘Context’ section.
